Clear Glass

Clear glass is the regular transparent manufactured glass that is most commonly used in our daily lives. Glass in this form is perfectly flat and not subjected to any form of treatment or alteration.

Crystal Glass

Crystal clear glass is manufactured upon the introduction of manganese oxide to the regular “Clear” glass making process. Crystal Clear Glass is a highly refractive glass of premium quality and grade.

Tinted Glass

Tinted glass is made by altering the chemical formulation of the glass with special inorganic additives. The primary uses for tinted glass are reducing glare from the bright outdoors and reducing the amount of solar energy transmitted through the glass.  The most common colors are neutral grey, bronze, and blue-green, which do not greatly alter the perceived color of the view and tend to blend well with other architectural colors.

Reflective Glass

Reflective Glass is a type of flat glass with a metallic coating which produces a mirror effect, preventing the subject from seeing through the glass. This special metallic coating also is also used to reduce solar heat .

Colored Glass

Colored Glass comes as sheets of all shades and degrees of colors. Glass Plus is the sole distributor for Wissmach and Spectrum colored glass labels. Colored Glass comes at a standard thickness of 4mm and is mainly used for producing stained glass (vitrail) murals and for glass fusing.
